A Ladies' Smocked or Heirloom Nightgown - This deliciously feminine nightgown is as light as a summer breeze and made as a smocked or an heirloom gown with as much lace as you like.  In a print, it could even double as a sundress!  There are three smocking designs contained in the pattern, two of which may challenge you.  There are so many ways to work the bodice bands of the heirloom version from tucking to Madeira appliqué to cutwork or delicate embroidery.  Or add some Swiss insertions and a touch of French Val lace.  With a size range from XS to XXXL everyone can make a flattering gown.  Waltz length gown is 9" shorter than full-length gown.
